Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about QuestPath

What is QuestPath?
QuestPath is an AI-powered companion for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic. It answers class, dungeon, gear, and leveling questions tailored to your character, and can generate importable quest path strings for supported addons.
How does it know about my character?
When you log in with Battle.net, QuestPath fetches your character's live data — class, level, race, faction, equipped gear, active specialization, and achievement statistics — from the Blizzard API. Every recommendation is then tailored to that specific character.
How accurate is the information?
The AI only surfaces information it can trace to recognised TBC Classic community resources such as Wowhead, Icy Veins, and Warcraft Tavern. When it cannot verify a detail with confidence it will say so explicitly rather than guess.
What is the export / import string?
When you ask QuestPath for a quest path or leveling route it produces a QPATH import string. You can copy this string and paste it directly into a compatible addon to load the route in-game as waypoints and quest steps.
How many requests do I get per day?
Each account gets 25 free requests per day. The counter resets at midnight UTC.
Can I ask about dungeons, raids, and PvP — not just quests?
Yes. QuestPath covers the full breadth of TBC Classic: questing, leveling, dungeons, raids, classes, talents, professions, reputation grinds, attunements, gear progression, and PvP. The export string is only generated when you explicitly ask for a route.
Why does QuestPath sometimes say it isn't certain?
Accuracy is a top priority. The AI is instructed never to fabricate boss abilities or game mechanics. If it cannot verify a specific detail it will flag the uncertainty — this is intentional and far more useful than a confident but incorrect answer.
Is my Battle.net password shared with QuestPath?
No. Login uses OAuth2 via Battle.net. QuestPath only receives a limited-scope access token that allows it to read public character profile data. Your password is never seen by this application.
